The course:
This certification program is intended to give new divers a variety of unique diving experiences that will fuel your passion for diving and dive education.
Adventure Dives are supervised experience dives only, and should not be confused with the Advanced Open Water
Diver recognition rating. Choose out of a big variety of dives, like deep diving, navigation, drift diving, etc.
-
Scuba gear:
Beyond using basic scuba equipment, you’ll need a compass and dive knife or dive tool. You’ll also use specialized gear depending on the Adventure Dives you choose. For example, you’d obviously use a dive light for a Night Adventure Dive or a sidemount configuration during the Sidemount Adventure Dive. Your SSI Instructor will explain the equipment that you need and may suggest additional gear, such as a lift bag for search and recovery diving.
